| I'm going to make this simple because at least half of this should be common sense for you guys. Some forums will have their own, more specific, rules. Remember to check them out.
1. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
2. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
3. Spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, visitor messages, blog comments, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.
4. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.
5. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
6. Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
7. The staff reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
8. All posts must be made in english.
9. Posts discussing moderator actions are also not allowed. Contact the rest of the staff by a private message if there is a problem.
10. The staff has to provide a reason for editing posts and other actions.
11. Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
12. Reputation should be used to reward users for informative and insightful posts. It should not be used to reward jokes, and pointless trolling. If you see that someone has been repped multiple times in one post, think hard about repping them again. Go find another user to reward.
13. Do not use stupid topic names. Make it descriptive.
We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of this community.

"What happens if I break a rule?"
If you break a rule, then you will either be warned or banned. A ban of your user account may either be temporary or permanent. While a ban will normally involve only a ban of your user account, in extreme circumstances, it is possible to block your IP address from the forums.

| And please everyone, no more one word posts. Some of you clearly haven't really bothered with the rules.
Just try to add something more to those posts, shouldn't be that difficult. :/ That doesn't mean just any nonsense though. Don't post at all if you don't have more to say than a couple of words. |
